Country music legend George Strait just released a sentimental new song, “The Little Things.” The track is the second song Strait has released from his upcoming albumCowboys and Dreamers.

Strait released the album’s first song, “MIA Down In MIA,” in May. The beachy tune will be the perfect addition to any summer vacation playlist.

“The Little Things” takes on a different tone. It’s much more sentimental, as “The King of Country” reflects on the little memories and circumstances that give life meaning.

As he sings in the chorus:

“Like an old Merle Haggard song, mama on the phone. Midnight on a back porch, a slow kiss on a dance floor. A tiny diamond in your pocket, a baby that needs rocking back to sleep. If you’re asking me, it’s the little things.”
