Toby Keith’s team released a new video to accompany his Christmas song “Old Toy Trains.”

Toby Keith released two posthumous albums on October 4th, including a re-issue of his first Christmas album, Christmas to Christmas.

The late country singer first released Christmas to Christmas in 1995.

After several years of country music success, Toby Keith dropped a Christmas album on October 17, 1995.

Christmas to Christmas was a fan-favorite album for many reasons, one being that he included four original songs. Those songs were “Blame It On The Mistletoe,” “Santa’s Gonna Take It All Back,” “Hot Rod Sleigh,” and “Mary, It’s Christmas.” He also covered lesser known Christmas songs instead of the classics that are done over and over. See the full track listing below.

1. “Santa, I’m Right Here”
2. “Bethlehem In Birmingham”
3. “Christmas Rock”
4. “Blame It On The Mistletoe”
5. “Santa’s Gonna Take It All Back”
6. “The Night Before Christmas”
7. “Hot Rod Sleigh”
8. “Christmas To Christmas”
9. “Jesus Gets Jealous Of Santa Claus”
10. “Mary, It’s Christmas”
11. “All I Want For Christmas”
12. “What Made The Baby Cry?”

The 2024 re-issue includes a bonus track of “Old Toy Trains,” a song originally sung by Roger Miller in 1967. Roger wrote the song for his young son, Dean, who ended up recording his own version in adulthood. Toby first covered the song for the multi-artist album, and it charted at number 57 on the Hot Country Songs chart that year.

Other notable artists who have also covered the song, which is also sometimes titled “Little Toy Trains,” include Glen Campbell, Raffi, The Statler Brothers, Scott Miller, Nick Lowe, and Pentatonix.

The video is a visualizer of a old toy train set with a red train going around the tracks. With snow falling down on the beautiful scenery, it isn’t much, but it’s what Toby wanted. And that’s why we love it.
