Country Nominees Revealed for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards
The Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) will return next month to celebrate the accomplishments of artists, producers, and songwriters over the past year.
The BBMAs recognize “music’s greatest achievements with exclusive original performances, artist interviews, and award celebrations taking place from global locations and in the midst of sold-out tours.”
The complete list of nominees for the 2024 ceremony was released on November 25th, and many of country music’s best are represented among the names.
Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, and Morgan Wallen lead the BBMA nominations
Zach Bryan is the most-nominated artist of the 2024 BBMAs, with a staggering 21 nods across 18 categories. Taylor Swift follows in second place with 17 nominations.
Next in line is Morgan Wallen, with 15 mentions. Wallen was the most-awarded artist at the 2023 BBMAs, taking home 11 trophies.
Additional country artists in the running for multiple Billboard Music Awards are:
- Post Malone – eight nominations
- Shaboozey – six nominations
- Luke Combs – four nominations
- HARDY – three nominations
- The Red Clay Strays – two nominations
- Jelly Roll – two nominations
Although primarily considered to be country artists, Jelly Roll, HARDY, and Dolly Parton received nominations in rock categories.
