Country Legend Lorrie Morgan Cancels Appearances Amid Husband’s Hospitalization

Country star Lorrie Morgan has canceled all scheduled concerts and appearances for the next two weeks due to her husband’s hospitalization.
Lorrie Morgan, who is currently on tour with the band Alabama, announced Thursday (April 17) that she was stepping away to be with her husband, Randy White. White was admitted to a Tennessee hospital amid his battle with mouth cancer, according to Lorrie’s manager.

Morgan’s friend and fellow country star Pam Tillis will replace her on the Alabama tour.

Lorrie Morgan married Randy White, a retired entrepreneur, in a private beachside ceremony in September 2010. Prior to his retirement, White reportedly owned a private property design and landscape company in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

The “Except For Monday” singer shared news of her husband’s cancer diagnosis in April 2024. She issued a statement at the time, saying, “We deeply appreciate the prayers and well wishes, and for continued support and privacy as we focus on Randy’s health and on our family at this time.”

Lorrie shared an update in December and stated that Randy was “making some progress … he is determined.”
