With this milestone, Travis became the first country artist to use AI to recreate his pre-stroke voice and release new music. Moreover, the track marked his triumphant return to recording nearly a decade after his debilitating stroke.

During the ACM Honors, fellow country star Jamey Johnson took the stage at The Pinnacle in Nashville to pay tribute. He delivered a moving performance of Travis’s hit “Three Wooden Crosses,” bringing the crowd to its feet.
