Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ Becomes Best-Selling Country Tour Of All Time
Beyoncé’s Tour Brought In Over $400 Million
Queen Bey took the reins, and now she reigns… or does she?
Playing in stadiums in only nine cities, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour has become the highest selling country music tour of all time.
Bringing in a total of $407.6 million, the tour sold 1.6 million tickets across 32 individual concerts, according to Billboard.
This tour was held in support of her 2024 album, Cowboy Carter, which won the Grammy for Album of the Year and Best Country Album. These accolades have been polarizing within the country music scene, with Cowboy Carter receiving no nominations at the 58th CMA Awards or the 60th ACM Awards.
Notably, Dolly Parton gave her blessing to the album, which includes a reimagining of “Jolene,” an interlude featuring the country icon, and her participation on another track, “Tyrant.”
Highlights Of The Show
Each night of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour saw the 35-time Grammy Award winner entertain with a three-hour set.
She was often joined by other artists, such as her husband, rapper Jay-Z; her old group, Destiny’s Child; and even Miley Cyrus.
On the final night of her tour, country artist Shaboozey joined Beyoncé on stage, singing “Sweet Honey Buckin’” at the Las Vegas show on July 26.

Notably, the stage design leaned into her interests as a multimedia artist, incorporating video into the performance in a significant manner.
Prior to the Cowboy Carter Tour, the record for the best-selling tour was held by Garth Brooks, whose 2014 tour with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, brought in $364.3 million.
Since then, Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour in 2023 and 2024 brought in over $300 million.
Similarly, Zach Bryan also brought in over $300 million on his The Quittin Time Tour in 2024.
