Post Malone & Jelly Roll Fans Stuck In “Nightmare” Traffic Demand Refunds After Missing Their Show

Angry Fans Show Traffic Jam Causing Them To Miss Post Malone And Jelly Roll Show

Fans hoping to see Post Malone and Jelly Roll perform at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena for their Big A** Stadium Tour last weekend are demanding refunds after a “nightmare” traffic jam caused many to miss the entire show.

Several concertgoers reported being so stuck in gridlock, they couldn’t even make it to the venue. Many recalled they were stranded for up to three hours, and some for just six miles.

Videos posted on social media showed frustrated fans abandoning their cars and walking toward the arena, while others simply filmed the horrible situation while driving by.

“It’s one way in, one road, ridiculous,” one user could be heard saying in her video posted to TikTok. “We’re gonna miss Jelly Roll and Post Malone, we paid $171 per ticket to not even get in.”

@chelly9601 We waited from 4pm-9pm the cocnert and still were 3 miles from the concert location by 9pm and our ETA said 10:30pm arrival. Sooooo many others were in our boat. Thunder ridge needs to make this right. So sad to miss out on jelly and post. We bought tickets 5 months ago. #jelly #jellyroll #postmalone #thunderridgenaturearena #missouri #bunny #concertfail #jellyrollconcert #postmalone #concertfail #trafficjam #thunderridge #bunnyxo #bunnyxofan ♬ original sound – chelly

Concertgoers Are Now Demanding Their Money Back

Local residents also reported oversold tickets and overwhelmed parking lots, with as many as 6,500 vehicles crammed into a venue designed for just 20,000 attendees.

Attendees are now demanding refunds, complaining that Ticketmaster led them back to the venue, which allegedly responded with “be patient.”

“We waited in line over 3 hours and never made it to the venue. We were about a mile away at 9:15 and decided to turn around because we knew we would not make it,” one fan explained on Reddit. “My wife called the venue and was told they wouldn’t give refunds and we should be ‘patience’ with them! I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I know it won’t do anything, but the more formal documentation there is, the better.”

Many fans tagged Post and Jelly directly, hoping that widespread attention will help them get their money back.

Thunder Ridge Nature Arena’s History Of Issues

This is unfortunately not the first time this arena has experienced issues, and in October of 2022, Garth Brooks fans reported a similar situation unfolding.

His sold-out shows reportedly left concertgoers stranded in their car for hours as they attempted to make their way to the venue and once they arrived, had no where to park, despite purchasing parking passes.

“Either get there at NOON (7 p.m. show), rent a helicopter or don’t go! We did NOT see Garth,” one Facebook user said at the time. “Very poor event and parking management. The venue is getting raked for this. Garth deserves better!”

“You’d better be young, in top physical condition and no disabilities to attend there. The hill to get down to it is very steep, so you must be sure-footed,” another noted. “What goes down must come up, so you need to have the physical ability to do some hefty climbing.”

Ticketmaster was reportedly flooded with requests for refunds following the concert.
