Garth Brooks is set to take his acclaimed Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour to Canada in December 2026, marking his first appearance in the country during this tour.
On October 28, Brooks announced that Hamilton, Ontario, will host the inaugural Canadian shows of the tour, with performances scheduled for December 4 and 5 at the TD Coliseum. This move not only highlights his commitment to engaging with Canadian fans but also acknowledges their deep appreciation for country music.
Canadian Fans Underestimated
In his announcement, Brooks expressed his admiration for Canadian country music enthusiasts, stating, “Nobody gives them credit for knowing their country music the way they do.” He indicated that many locations in Canada rival Nashville in their musical knowledge. This sentiment underscores the importance of the Canadian market in Brooks’ touring plans, as he aims to connect with audiences who share his passion for the genre.
Following a series of U.S. dates, these two Hamilton concerts will be Brooks’ first in Canada since his 2022 stadium tour. Tickets for the highly anticipated shows will become available on November 6 at 10 AM ET through Ticketmaster.
Kansas City Show Canceled
Before heading north, Brooks is currently fulfilling his schedule in the United States. However, he recently announced the cancellation of a Kansas City performance scheduled for November 7 due to issues with ticket sales affected by excessive bot activity. A statement from his team described this as “one of the most frustrating moments” of his tour, though Brooks will still proceed with the other two performances in Kansas City on November 6 and 7.
Brook’s Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour revives the spirit of the extensive World Tour he undertook from 1996 to 1998, which included numerous Canadian stops. He kicked off the current tour in mid-August, traveling to cities like Indianapolis, Chicago, and Orlando. The addition of Canadian dates signifies a growing momentum as fans eagerly await his return.
As the tour progresses, fans can look forward to more announcements that expand Brooks’ reach and continue to celebrate country music across North America.
