“Voice” Standout Josh Sanders Powers Through Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse”

Reviewing Josh Sanders’ journey on The Voice thus far: Team Reba’s Josh Sanders delivered an electrifying performance of “White Horse,” leaving everything on the stage as he soared into the Top 9 of Season 25.

Sanders’ Voice journey began when he sang “Whiskey On You” by Nate Smith during the blind auditions. Reba McEntire immediately fell in love with his voice and called him a “perfect country singer.

He chose McEntire as his coach, and she helped guide him through the battles, knockouts, and playoffs.

During those weeks, fans watched Sanders offer up his versions of songs such as Luke Combs’ “When It Rains It Pours” and Corey Kent’s “Wild as Her.”

Sanders advanced to the live shows, and moved the coaches to tears with his heartwarming cover of Thomas Rhett’s “Angels.”
