The crowd danced as they performed Adkins’ hit “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.”

Some of the song’s hilarious lyrics are,

“Now Honey, you can’t blame her
For what her mama gave her
It ain’t right to hate her
For workin’ that money-maker
Band shuts down at two
But we’re hangin’ out ’til three
We hate to see her go
But love to watch her leave

With that honky tonk badonkadonk
Keepin’ perfect rhythm
Make ya wanna swing along
Got it goin’ on like Donkey Kong.”

Trace Adkins Talks About His Friendship With Blake Shelton

According to Adkins, the pair are the best of friends, and he is grateful to have someone in the same industry as him.

He did mention, though, that he thinks Blake is an oversharer and jokingly remarked that he talks too much in a recent interview. He said,

“With Blake, you know, to have a close friend that’s in the same business that you’re in, and we can talk about that with each other. And Blake is, you know, he shares a little too much. A lot. Horrible oversharer. He shares too much to everybody.”
