Toby Keith’s Team Launches New “Premium” Food Brand: From Blue Catfish To Big Dogs

Country music legend Toby Keith has made a big splash in the food world by launching Toby Keith’s Premium.
This high-quality food brand came to life after more than a year and a half of hard work by the late singer.

Winston Tucker, who became friends with Toby Keith through their shared love of fishing and good food, now leads the company as CEO, according to Toby Keith’s official website. All the meat and other food products come entirely from the USA, with family-owned businesses Rastelli Foods and Pier Fish handling the packaging and shipping. Tucker fondly recalls Keith’s strong opinions about food quality, especially when it came to catfish.

“He didn’t like farm-raised catfish,” Tucker shared. “His exact words, in fact, were, ‘I don’t want any of those farm-raised catfish that taste like mud.’ Quality was his first priority.”

Toby Keith Premium Food Brand

Toby Keith’s Premium offers a diverse range of products:

Blue Catfish – Chunks and fillets with various breading options
Smash Burgers – Perfect for stacking and satisfying hunger
Big Dogs – Chicken and beef varieties that redefine the hot dog experience
Getcha Some Sauces – Flavorful accompaniments to enhance every bite
Big Daddy Cups – Double-wall stainless steel for keeping drinks ice-cold

Keith’s passion for quality led him to source blue catfish from the Great Lakes and Chesapeake Bay. These invasive species offer a clean, sweet taste comparable to wild-caught Alaskan salmon. Toby Keith’s Premium is pioneering the introduction of blue catfish to retail markets in volume.

“Catfish and fried bologna sandwiches are the top two selling items at Toby’s restaurants,” Tucker revealed.

The brand also makes special foods like the Big Dog. It’s a round beef or chicken sausage that’s 3.5 inches wide and fits just right on a burger bun. Keith came up with this idea because he loved hot dogs and wanted to use only the best stuff to make them.

“Toby loves hot dogs, but he’d say, ‘I don’t want ’em with the throw-away beef and pork parts and all those additives.’”

The “Don’t Let The Old Man In” singer loved America, so the food boxes use red, white, and blue colors.

“All these products come from the USA, so that was important to him,” Tucker continued. “I also asked him to send me a picture of himself with a catfish that we could use. He replied, ‘I don’t take pics of catfish…I eat ’em.’ Later he sent me a pic of himself holding up a tiny catfish – spinning it to be funny with that famous Toby grin.”

The Keith family gave their okay, and now you can buy Toby’s food online at tobykeithpremium.com.
