Sibling country duo The Reklaws audition for America’s Got Talent with an emotional original song
Siblings Stuart and Jenna Walker from Toronto, Canada, chased their country music dreams all the way to the America’s Got Talent stage. The duo performs under the name The Reklaws, which was derived from spelling their last name backward.
The brother and sister pair have a unique backstory, having grown up on a farm in the small Canadian town of Kirkwall. They shared that it was “not a normal farm” but instead a “Yeehaw Adventure Farm” complete with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and pig races, all built by their father.
The halftime show at the pig races was where The Reklaws began performing in their teens.

The Reklaws perform “People Don’t Talk About” on America’s Got Talent in tribute to their late mother
The country duo chose to sing an original song for their audition, one that they said they knew would be the song to sing if they had the opportunity to perform on the AGT stage.
They revealed that they tragically lost their mother to mental health in 2022, and the experience inspired them to write a song about the things that they were not comfortable talking about.
The performance earns a standing ovation from judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandell
The duo was joined on stage by a full band, and their harmonies and poignant lyrics created a beautiful moment. The emotional song had a visible impact on the audience, with some of them wiping away tears.
Simon Cowell and Howie Mandell rose to their feet to applaud the pair, and fellow judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara praised the “impeccable” performance. Cowell called the audition “unbelievably powerful.”
In the end, The Reklaws received four unanimous “yes” votes from the judges and will be moving to the next round of competition!
