Richard Goodall’s America’s Got Talent Journey
Richard Goodall, a native of Terre Haute, Indiana, went viral on TikTok in 2022 with a Journey cover that the band shared. The band’s frontman, Steve Perry, shared the cover with text that read, “Needs to be on AGT.”
Goodall made his America’s Got Talent debut earlier this year where he performed the song that made him a household name – “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey. The performance earned the janitor a coveted Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum.
Richard’s AGT journey has been everything dreams are made of. Week after week, he has continued to deliver unforgettable ’80s song covers that have only further endeared him to viewers. From Michael Bolton’s “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You” to “Eye Of The Tiger” by Survivor, the audience can’t seem to get enough of Richard Goodall.
Yet another dream of Richard’s is rumored to be coming true during the finale airing on September 24. Goodall is expected to take the stage with Journey to sing yet another of their hit songs.
