PCCAs: Beyoncé Took Home No Awards Despite Having Most Nominations

Fans who watched the People’s Choice Country Awards on Thursday (September 26) reacted to Beyoncé’s wins.

Thanks to Beyoncé’s wildly successful single “Texas Hold ‘Em” and her album Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé was the most nominated female artist with 17 total nominations at the People’s Choice Country Awards.

There were a total of 18 awards, so it is pretty impressive to score 17 nominations! She was up for the following

  • The People’s Artist of 2024
  • The Female Artist of 2024
  • The Social Country Star of 2024
  • The Album of 2024
  • The Song of 2024 (“Texas Hold ‘Em”)
  • The Female Song of 2024 (“16 Carriages”)
  • The Female Song of 2024 (“Texas Hold ‘Em)
  • The Collaboration Song of 2024 (“Blackbiird”)
  • The Cover Song of 2024 (“Blackbiird”)
  • The Cover Song of 2024 (“Jolene”)
  • The Crossover Song of 2024 (“II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus)
  • The Storyteller Song of 2024 (“16 Carriages”)

Because she co-wrote the nominated songs in the categories of Female Song, Song, Collaboration Song, Crossover Song, and Storyteller Song, she could have won two awards each – one for the artist and one for being a songwriter.

How Many People’s Choice Country Awards Did Beyoncé Receive?

At the Second Annual People’s Choice Country AwardsBeyoncé won no awards, despite being the most nominated female artist.

On the PCCAs’ social media post for Album of 2024, which went to Luke Combs, a fan wrote, “Beyoncé not winning a single award yet she had the most votes in every category? not really ‘people’s choice’ is it”?

See some other reactions below.

In fact, the only time her name was even mentioned in the entire awards show was when Shaboozy thanked her in his New Artist of 2024 acceptance speech! Watch that below.
