Morgan Wallen Releases His Highly Anticipated Album, “I’m The Problem”
Morgan Wallen’s New Album Is Finally Here – Learn The History Behind I’m The Problem
The day Morgan Wallen fans have been anticipating has finally arrived—his new album, I’m the Problem, is out in the world.
Wallen’s previous record, One Thing at a Time, was released in 2023. The album topped the Billboard 200 chart for 19 non-consecutive weeks and was dubbed the #1 best-selling album in any genre in 2023.
Wallen celebrated the album’s first anniversary with the release of his Abbey Road Sessions. Those sessions contained a new song, “Lies, Lies, Lies,” which we later learned was the lead single from I’m the Problem.
In early 2024, Wallen revealed his plans to start recording his next album. After that, he remained relatively quiet about his plans, although he released another new song, “Love Somebody,” in October 2024. That track debuted at the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Then, on New Year’s Eve, Wallen surprised fans by releasing another new song, “Smile.”
Shortly after the release of “Smile,” Wallen announced his next album, releasing on May 16, would be titled I’m the Problem. Fans eventually learned that the album would contain 37 tracks.
Two of those tracks, “Just in Case” and “I’m a Little Crazy,” were released in March of this year (2025). He later released a few more songs, including “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” and “Superman.”
More Details About The Tracklist For I’m The Problem
As mentioned above, I’m the Problem features a whopping total of 37 tracks. Five of those are collaborations featuring Wallen’s friends, such as Eric Church, ERNEST, HARDY, and Post Malone.
I’m the Problem also includes Wallen’s first collaboration with a female duet partner. Pop artist Tate McRae joins him on Track #4, titled “What I Want.”
Track #35, “Miami,” is a “rap style” take on Keith Whitley’s iconic tune, “Miami, My Amy.” When speaking about the song on Theo Von’s podcast, Wallen said:
“I got a song on my record called ‘Miami.’ It’s a Keith Whitley flip… that’s one of his bigger songs, I guess. But we flipped it and turned it into more of a rap style. But it’s cool, I like it.”
Wallen co-wrote many of the tracks on I’m the Problem. Other songwriters featured on the album include Ryan Vojtesak, Jessie Jo Dillon, Blake Pendergrass, James Maddocks, and Rocky Block.
