Morgan Wallen Breaks 40-Year-Old Record For Largest Weekend At Neyland Stadium

Country music star Morgan Wallen has set a new benchmark in the music industry, surpassing a long-standing record previously held by the Jackson 5.

The East Tennessee native’s recent performances on Friday (September 20) and Sunday (September 22) have solidified his position as one of the most popular artists in contemporary music.

Morgan Wallen’s Record-Breaking Achievement

Over two nights, Morgan Wallen drew 156,151 fans to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee. This impressive turnout broke the previous record set by the Jackson 5 nearly 40 years ago. In 1984, the legendary group attracted 148,407 attendees across three shows, something Wallen was able to surpass in just two performances.

A Significant Homecoming For Wallen

For Wallen, these concerts represented more than just record numbers. They marked a return to his roots. As a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan, performing at Neyland Stadium held personal significance.
