Miranda Lambert Signs On To Serve As A Guest Mentor To Idol Singers
The same evening that the Top 10 were revealed, American Idol also announced its next guest mentor…Miranda Lambert!
Lambert has prior experience serving in a mentor role. She previously served as a team advisor on past seasons of The Voice.
Additionally, Lambert has her own experience competing on reality TV. She was a contestant on Season 1 of Nashville Star in 2003 and came in third place.
Her past experience and status as a country music megastar make her the perfect mentor for the Idol Top 10. In addition to mentoring the contestants, she’ll also perform during Sunday night’s (May 4) “Iconic Women’s Songs Night.”
Idol posted a video on social media announcing Lambert’s upcoming mentorship. You can watch it below.
Tune in to American Idol on May 4 to see Lambert as a mentor!
