In a throwback video posted to his social media, Luke Bryan transported fans back to his final night of his two-year Las Vegas residency at the Resorts World Theatre. During this final performance, Bryan took the opportunity to show his admiration for Presley, choosing to remember the rock and roll icon by covering his timeless 1970 classic, “The Wonder of You,” in front of a sold out crowd. Bryans tribute was a fitting testament to the timeless impact of Presley’s music and the impact it has had on all genres of music.

Honoring The King on His Birthday

The tribute held special significance as it coincided with what would have been Elvis Presley’s 89th birthday. The music legend, who left an undeniable mark on the world, passed away on August 16, 1977, at the age of 42.

Luke Bryan’s love for the King of Rock and Roll has been proven time and time again. In a 2021 interview on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Bryan once again expressed his love and appreciation for Elvis Presley. During the interview, he delighted the audience by showcasing his impressive Elvis impression, treating them to a spontaneous rendition of “The Wonder of You,” seemingly being Bryan’s go-to song when it comes to his favorites from Presley’s music catalogue.
