Larry Fleet’s young son has broken his arm.

Larry Fleet’s son Waylon faced a challenging moment recently as he broke his arm, an experience that resonated deeply with the country singer. The incident occurred on Friday, October 30, prompting Fleet to share his emotional response on social media.

In his post, Fleet commended his son for his remarkable resilience during this difficult time. Sharing images of Waylon receiving care, he noted, “He was a tough little boy and held up better than most grown men.” However, he acknowledged the emotional toll, stating, “I don’t care how tough you are, there’s nothing that will crush you faster than seeing your kids hurt or sick.” He also expressed gratitude towards the emergency medical team and hospital staff who assisted Waylon.

Waylon’s Ongoing Challenges

This isn’t the first time that young Waylon has had to deal with such adversity. Fleet revealed that his son previously broke his right arm in 2025 and his left arm in 2026. Reflecting on the series of incidents, Fleet remarked, “It was a heck of a night for ol’ Waylon.”

Family Focus

Waylon, born in 2019, is currently in the first grade, and he shares a close-knit family life with his parents, Larry and Phebe, and his older sister, Stella, who is five years old. In a previous interview with Taste of Country, Fleet discussed the importance of family in his life and emphasized how a commitment to sobriety was driven by his desire to be more present for his children. “I don’t like my kids seeing me drunk and acting a fool,” he stated, highlighting his dedication to their well-being.

Larry Fleet is known for resonant tracks such as “Working Man,” “Things I Take For Granted,” and his breakout song “Where I Find God.” His growing popularity has seen him share stages with prominent artists like Morgan Wallen, further establishing his place in the country music scene.
