Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s oldest daughter, Sunday Rose Urban Kidman, is stepping into the spotlight at 17. She recently revealed the two biggest rules her famous parents set for her while growing up.

A Private Childhood Away From the Spotlight

Sunday Rose and her younger sister, Faith Margaret, enjoyed a mostly private upbringing. Keith and Nicole wanted their girls to have a normal childhood outside of Hollywood’s glare. Still, the sisters made rare appearances with their parents and even had small cameos in Nicole’s hit HBO series Big Little Lies.

Now that Sunday is 17 and Faith is 14, the girls have started appearing publicly more often. They turned heads in 2024 when they made a rare red carpet appearance at Nicole Kidman’s AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony.

The Two Big Rules From Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman

Sunday revealed that her parents gave her two important guidelines:

1. No fashion or modeling work until age 16.
   “I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16,” Sunday explained.

2. School comes first.
   She admitted she “hated” that rule at first but now values the focus on education. “I’m actually really glad I had these rules because they keep me in a good mindset,” she told NYLON.

Sunday also shared that she hopes to attend college to study filmmaking, a dream she has had since she was just five years old.

Runway Debut In Paris Fashion Week

Sunday officially began her modeling career in 2024. She walked the runway for Miu Miu at Paris Fashion Week, wearing a chic white outfit paired with knee-high socks and open-toe heels.

She credits her mom, Nicole, for sparking her interest in fashion. “Growing up, I went to my mom’s photo shoots a lot and got to observe, which definitely led to my passion for modeling,” she said. She even jokes that Nicole’s closet is her “favorite store.”

Faith Margaret Also Steps Into Fashion

Sunday’s younger sister, Faith Margaret, has also started exploring modeling. She appeared alongside Nicole in an ad campaign for the Japanese luxury beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté.
