John Foster Denounces Fake News Targeting Jamal: “I Will Not Tolerate This”

“American Idol” finalist John Foster has spoken out strongly after a wave of defamatory rumors falsely linked him to hateful comments about fellow contestant Jamal. The baseless accusations originated from a fake article published by an unverified page—one that Foster calls “blatantly fake.”

In a heartfelt statement shared on social media, Foster expressed deep disappointment over how quickly many believed and shared the false claims. “I have nothing but respect and love for my friend Jamal,” he wrote. “The thought of me even thinking that terrible statement is revolting.”

Foster emphasized the importance of checking sources and not trusting everything seen on social media. “Please do not believe anything you see unless it comes from a trusted, well-known news outlet,” he urged.

He also warned that he and his team are prepared to pursue legal action if the fake stories continue to spread. “I will not tolerate such blatant defamation.”

Ending on a hopeful note, Foster called on fans and followers to stand for truth and compassion: “Let’s spread truth, love, and positivity, just like our Heavenly Father would.”

American Idol Revealed Its Champion On May 18

A record-breaking 26 million votes were cast on Sunday night after the three remaining finalists, Breanna Nix, John Foster, and Jamal Roberts, performed for America’s vote for the final time.

They opened the show with a group performance of Queen’s “We Are The Champions.”

Each singer performed multiple times, including solos and duets with celebrities.

At the show’s end, it was finally time to reveal who America voted to win American Idol! Host Ryan Seacrest revealed that Breanna Nix placed third and that it was between country singer John Foster and the soulful Jamal Roberts.

In the end, only one person can win the show, and this season, that person was…Jamal!

Despite Taking Second Place, John Was Incredibly Gracious

After he had time to reflect, he posted on Instagram once again. He assured fans that he is going to work hard to put out some new country music and that he trusts in God’s plan.
