Jelly Roll to Open New Nashville Bar Honoring Late Father Buddy
CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Jelly Roll is bringing something new to Broadway with the opening of his own Nashville bar.
The new venue, named Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville, will feature a special tribute to his late father — a back bar called Buddy’s. The country star shared the news during his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience on Friday (Oct. 11).
“Our rule is, it’s open to the public when it’s open to the public. And when it’s not, it’s not,” Jelly Roll explained.
Following Country Music’s Bar Trend
Jelly Roll joins a long list of country stars with Broadway hotspots, including Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, and Alan Jackson. Recently, Garth Brooks and Eric Church have also opened venues, while Morgan Wallen’s bar remains in dispute with the city.
Launch Day Coincides With New Album Release
The announcement came the same day Jelly Roll dropped his latest album, Beautifully Broken. The record features his single “I Am Not Okay” along with collaborations from Machine Gun Kelly, Ilsey, and Wiz Khalifa.
In 2023, Jelly Roll released his country debut, Whitsitt Chapel, with guest appearances from Brantley Gilbert, Yelawolf, and Lainey Wilson.
With Goodnight Nashville, Jelly Roll blends personal tribute with his signature Nashville spirit — ensuring fans have a new must-visit spot in Music City.
