Kelly Clarkson And Jelly Roll Deliver Special “Jellyoke” Performance On The Kelly Clarkson Show

Jelly Roll recently joined Kelly Clarkson for a special duet performance during the “Kellyoke” segment of her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. Their “Jellyoke” duet highlighted one of Jelly Roll’s newest songs, “I Am Not Okay.”

“I Am Not Okay” is the first single Jelly Roll released from his latest album, Beautifully BrokenThe impactful song focuses on the topic of mental health, with some of the lyrics being:

“I am not okay. I’m hanging on the rails. So if I say I’m fine, just know I learned to hide it well.”

As of this writing, “I Am Not Okay” currently sits within the Top 10 on both of Billboard‘s country charts.

Jelly Roll and Kelly Clarkson transformed “I Am Not Okay” into an inspirational duet for their “Jellyoke” performance. Jelly Roll led the song, while Kelly provided some stunning and powerful harmonies.

Kelly Clarkson Show Viewers React To The Pair’s Duet

Jelly Roll and Kelly sounded so natural singing together that many fans begged for them to release a studio version of their duet. Some of the comments on the official YouTube video of their performance were:

“I absolutely love how she totally could over power him if she wanted to but she played off of him so well and kept it his song and it came out so beautiful.”

“PLEEEEEAAASSEEEEE MAKE THIS AN ACTUAL DUET!! I NEED THIS IN MY PLAYLIST.”

The YouTube video had hundreds of comments and thousands of likes less than 24 hours after it was posted.

The duet was a dream come true for Jelly Roll, who was previously moved to tears when Kelly sang “Save Me” for “Kellyoke” earlier this year (2024).

I would’ve never believed you if you would’ve told me that I’d write a song so impactful that incredible Kelly Clarkson would deem it worthy to cover,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Jelly Roll likely never imagined that he’d be singing another one of his tracks with Kelly just a few months later!
