Jelly Roll Debuts Emotional New Song “I Am Not OK” During ‘The Voice’ Finale

The 25th season of ‘The Voice’ wrapped up with a stunning grand finale, showcasing captivating performances by A-list artists, a special reunion of former coaches, and plenty of exciting surprises!
The Voice’s finale was a two-night extravaganza. On the first night, the remaining five contestants delivered heartfelt performances to win over the viewers. Additionally, Keith Urban made a special appearance to premiere his new song, “Messed Up As Me.”

Tonight, the contestants stepped back as the votes were tallied, creating anticipation for the results. Meanwhile, the audience enjoyed performances by several renowned artists. Blake Shelton also made an exciting return to the show to join other former coaches to celebrate The Voice’s 25th season.

For an exciting guest performance, Jelly Roll shut down the stage with his performance of his unreleased song, “I Am Not OK,” for the Season 25 finale of The Voice.

Since dropping his first country single “Son Of A Sinner” in 2021, Jelly Roll has defied conventions, solidifying his status as one of the genre’s most beloved artists. Following his critically acclaimed debut album, Whitsitt Chapel, Jelly is currently busy crafting his eagerly anticipated next project.

During an interview with Audacy radio station KMLE 107.9, Jelly discussed his recent accomplishments and offered insights into his future plans.

“I feel like the [2024 CMT Music Awards] were the end of the Whitsitt Chapel era. I performed ‘Need A Favor’ there for the first time which was the beginning of the Whitsitt Chapel era. Then, I performed ‘Halfway To Hell’ there which was my last single off the album. So, new music’s on the horizon. I’m excited, man. It’s a new chapter.”

While not much is known about the details of his forthcoming album, Jelly did unveil a new, unreleased track, “Liar,” during a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry, teasing fans with a glimpse of what’s to come. The track is expected to be one of the first songs to be made available from his upcoming album.

Jelly further heightened the anticipation by performing the new song at the 59th annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards on May 16, where he secured a nomination for Entertainer of the Year.

Following his recent performances, Jelly Roll thrilled fans once more during the second night of The Voice finale. He provided fans with the exclusive opportunity to be among the first to witness another live debut of a brand new track titled “I Am Not OK.”

Fans were deeply touched by his rendition and the lyrics to his latest track.

“This song speaks to me as do most of his songs do.”

“I can so relate to this song! Love you Jelly Roll! Thank you for your music!!!”

“That’s what I love about him, he speaks to those who need it most in his music, because he’s been there.”

“I thought he was good before tonight now I’m a fan for sure. Such a moving song.”
