“Idol” Star John Foster Clears Up False Information Spreading About Him Online
American Idol Contestant John Foster Calls Out Incorrect Information He’s Seen About Himself On Social Media
John Foster wants to set the record straight regarding some false information that’s been spreading about him online.
Foster is currently competing on Season 23 of American Idol. In addition to being a talented musician, he’s an aspiring oncologist.
Foster has established himself as a fan-favorite contestant during his time on Idol. He’s performed covers of timeless country songs such as “Goodbye Time,” “I Told You So,” “Neon Moon,” and “Callin’ Baton Rouge.”
But his most impactful performance came during Idol’s “Songs of Faith” special on Easter Sunday. He performed an original song he wrote in tribute to two of his close friends who were killed in a car accident. The heartbreaking performance went viral and touched millions of people.
Foster has since advanced into Idol‘s Top 10. With his ever-growing popularity, Foster has been the subject of dozens of articles and social media posts. But not all of these posts are accurate.
On April 30, Foster went to his official Facebook page to correct some false information he had seen about himself online. He said:
“For the sake of all of my family (followers) getting to know me better, I’d like to clear up some misinformation that has been spreading on Facebook.”
