Garth Brooks stops ticket sales for upcoming concert because of bots.

Garth Brooks has suspended ticket sales for his upcoming Kansas City shows due to overwhelming bot activity that has compromised the ticketing process.

The announcement came on social media shortly after tickets for a third date at the T-Mobile Center went live on October 23. Brooks’ team indicated that they are reassessing the situation to mitigate the impact of scalpers, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring fairness for fans trying to secure tickets.

Ticket Sales Halted Amid Bot Activity

Initially, on October 21, Brooks unveiled an additional date for the Kansas City show owing to high demand. However, the excitement quickly turned to frustration just hours after sales commenced, as his team reported:

Due to excessive bot activity, ticket sales for Garth’s third show in Kansas City have been shut down.

Garth and the promoters are evaluating next steps and the future of the show.

Brooks subsequently expressed his regret for the disruption and pledged to resolve the issue, reaffirming his longstanding battle against scalping practices. This commitment aligns with his ethos of offering fans affordable ticket prices, which for the Kansas City shows, were set at $155, inclusive of taxes and fees.

The Kansas City performances are part of Brooks’ extensive 2026 Blame It All on My Roots Arena Tour, which marks a nostalgic return to arena settings reminiscent of his 1996 World Tour.

Reviving a Classic Tour Experience

Brooks first announced the Blame It All on My Roots Arena Tour on July 7, 2026, highlighting a desire to create an intimate concert atmosphere where every seat offers a great view. This tour will also feature elements borrowed from his iconic 1990s performances, including the much-discussed Drum Pod, which added a unique visual flair to his shows.

Brooks’ 2026 tour continues his legacy of capturing live music experiences, as he aims to produce a new project titled Killer Live. This initiative builds on the success of his previous live album, Double Live, from the 1996 tour.

While fans await further updates on the Kansas City ticketing situation, the anticipation remains high for Brooks’ return to the stage and the innovative experiences he has in store for audiences.
