Brad Paisley Helps Open The Grammys With Rockin’ Performance Of “I Love L.A.”
The Grammy Awards Host Charitable Ceremony In Light Of Recent Fires
On Sunday, February 2nd, the 67th annual Grammy Awards aired live from Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. Considered to be “music’s biggest night,” the event was broadcast on CBS and Paramount+ for music fans worldwide to see.
This year’s telecast was reimagined to raise funds for relief efforts for the recent wildfires that wreaked havoc in the area. The week of events that usually surrounds the awards show was “condensed,” with many companies choosing to cancel their Grammy celebrations. Instead, those funds were channeled towards those who were affected by the devastating fires.
Comedian, actor, and television personality Trevor Noah hosted the ceremony for the fifth consecutive year.

Country Music Representation At The Grammys
The Grammy Awards celebrate country music in four categories: Album, Solo Performance, Group/Duo Performance, and Song. Lainey Wilson, Post Malone, Chris Stapleton, and more top artists were represented among those nominated.
Beyonce, who released a country album in 2024, received nods in all four country categories. She is the most-awarded artist in Grammy Awards history and has a chance to increase her lead this year.
Additionally, country artists Brad Paisley, Lainey Wilson, and Sheryl Crow were featured performers at the star-studded affair.
Brad Paisley is no stranger to the Grammys stage, having taken home three Recording Academy awards from a total of 18 nominations during his career.

Brad Paisley Performs “I Love L.A.” At The Grammy Awards
The Grammys’ charitable efforts were particularly meaningful to Brad Paisley, whose former home burned down in the Palisades Fire. The 52-year-old joined an ensemble to deliver the ceremony’s opening performance, which served as a tribute to Los Angeles.
Dawes, a folk-rock band based in Los Angeles, led the tribute. The duo’s members, brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, lost their homes in the wildfires.
Paisley, Crow, John Legend, Brittany Howard, and St. Vincent accompanied the duo as they performed a cover of Randy Newman’s 1983 hit, “I Love L.A.” While Paisley never had a solo vocal moment, he did helped drive the performance with the rockin’ sound of his guitar.
