More Of Brandon Lake’s Country Music Collaborations
“Hard Fought Hallelujah” is undoubtedly one of the biggest collaborations of 2025. Brandon Lake originally released the song in November 2024, and it debuted at No. 1 on the Christian/Gospel Songs charts. Already a commercial success, it reached new heights when Lake enlisted the help of his friend Jelly Roll to release a duet version in February 2025.
Now certified platinum by the RIAA, “Hard Fought Hallelujah” took home Song of the Year at both the K‑LOVE Fan Awards and the GMA Dove Awards. Additionally, Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll are nominated for Musical Event of the Year at the 59th annual CMA Awards. This is Lake’s first-ever CMA Award nomination.
Most recently, Lake confirmed that he has recorded a version of his newest single, “When A Cowboy Prays,” with Cody Johnson. At a show last month, he told the crowd that he “heard their comments,” and even though he could not make the announcement officially, he said the version would be released next year.
