Kane & Katelyn Brown’s Hit Song “Thank God” Being Turned Into Christmas Movie

Kane Brown Released “Thank God” As A Duet With His Wife, Katelyn

On September 12, 2022, Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, released their first duet titled “Thank God.” It reached No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart in February 2023 making it the second duet by a married couple to reach the top spot on the chart. The first was Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s “It’s Your Love” in 1997.

Katelyn had a singing career before marrying Brown, but never sang with him on a song until “Thank God.” The two performed it at the CMT Music Awards in 2023, where they took home Video of the Year.

Since its release, “Thank God” it” has been certified 3× Platinum, selling more than 3,000,000 units!

The music video was directed by Alex Alvga and featured the married couple singing to each other in a gorgeous, tropical location.

Kately doesn’t always travel to every tour stop with Kane, but when she does, she will hop on stage and perform the song with him. One of the most memorable stops was in Boston when they performed at the iconic Fenway Park.

“Thank God” Is Being Turned Into A Christmas Movie

In a new announcement, the couple revealed that they are working on a new project: turning their hit song into a movie! And not just any movie, a Lifetime Christmas movie!

Not only did we get an announcement, we got so many details!

The movie will be titled Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch, and will star Arielle Kebbel and Tyler Hilton.

Kane and Katelyn will not appear in the movie, however, they will both serve as Executive Producers. In a statement obtained by Billboard, the couple said:

“The song ‘Thank God’ is so special to us. We love performing it on stage and it’s incredible how it’s connected to so many fans. We also really love Christmas and celebrating as a family. So for these two worlds to collide, we couldn’t be more excited!”

Billboard reports they have already worked with the production team to ensure that the song’s themes are represented in the movie.

Hilton plays a hockey player who gets injured a few weeks before Christmas. He does his rehab at Keller Ranch, where Kebbel’s character works as a equestrian-assisted therapist.
