In his last message to Linn, Greene reflected on life and peace:

“Rex, life is a beautiful day if you want it to be. I learned how fragile we really are, we have no control over what fate holds but, nobody can tell us not to be at peace, happy and loving. That’s our gift to ourselves. I’m not ready to put my saddle on the fence as long as I walk the good path. Be happy and peaceful and loving Brother.”
