Jelly Roll Finishes His First 5K & Celebrates With Wife Bunnie Xo
Jelly Roll set a goal to complete a 5K in May, and he succeeded! He began his journey by taking daily walks in the woods, gradually building up his training regimen until he reached his target.
“I’m in for the 5k in May,” Jelly Roll said in the caption of a video he shared on social media in January.

The “Save Me” singer has also been on a weight loss journey in recent months. He shared an update in April, saying he’s lost “70-something” pounds since he started.
Of course, Jelly Roll’s training for his 5K helped a lot when it came to weight loss. He said he was running 2-3 miles each day, 4-6 days each week. He’s also been “eating healthy” and spending time in the sauna.
Ultimately, Jelly Roll hopes to lose “another 100, 100-and-something” pounds. But he says he’s already “feeling good” after losing 70 pounds.
Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, recently shared that he had to leave social media because he was being bullied over his weight.
“…that makes me want to cry because he is the sweetest angel baby,” she said. “My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him.”

Needless to say, Bunnie was incredibly proud of Jelly Roll when he recently accomplished his goal of finishing a 5K! He completed the 2 Bears 5K with Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

“The Running Interviewer” Kate Mackz interviewed Jelly Roll, Kreischer, and Segura after the race. She asked them how they felt, and Jelly Roll responded, “It felt really good.”
Though the singer doubts he’ll run another 5K soon. That is, unless Kreischer and Segura host one again!
