Tensions ran high at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, over the weekend, when country stars Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock nearly came to blows behind the scenes. Their heated confrontation marks the latest chapter in a feud that has been building throughout the summer.

What Happened Between Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock?

According to videos posted on social media, the two singers exchanged angry words from opposite sides of a tall chain-link fence.

“You wanna fight like a man? Open the gate,” Bryan appeared to shout in one clip.

Adcock fired back, though his response was unclear in the video. In another clip, Bryan allegedly yelled, “If they open this f–king gate I’ll f–king kill you,” as security personnel rushed to the scene.

The gate stayed closed, but that didn’t stop Bryan. Another TikTok video showed the “Pink Skies” singer climbing the fence and jumping to Adcock’s side.

Security guards immediately restrained Bryan as he tried to charge toward Adcock. Although Adcock looked visibly upset, he didn’t physically retaliate. Instead, he pointed, yelled, and gestured during the exchange.

Adcock Responds on Social Media

Shortly after the incident, Adcock posted a clip of the confrontation on his own social media accounts, writing:

“When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown.”

He added another jab in the caption:

“Eat a Snickers bro.”

Why Are Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock Feuding?

This public feud started earlier this summer after Bryan clashed with a fan on social media. The fan, only 14 years old, expressed disappointment over not getting a photo or hug after waiting near the stage post-show.

Bryan responded harshly, using the acronym “GOMD” (“get off my d–k”).

Adcock quickly criticized Bryan, calling him ungrateful to his fans and saying he crossed the line by calling out a young fan online.

During an August appearance on Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast, Adcock doubled down on his criticism. He said his issue wasn’t that Bryan skipped the photo, but that he humiliated the fan publicly.

“I think Zach Bryan puts on a big mask in his day-to-day life and sometimes he can’t help but rip it off and show his true colors,” Adcock claimed.
“I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person.”

Both Singers Have a History of Drama

Both Bryan and Adcock are known for their fiery personalities and ongoing controversies.

Adcock has feuded with Beyoncé and Charley Crockett, in addition to Bryan.

Meanwhile, Bryan’s personal life has also sparked headlines. His ex, influencer Brianna Chickenfry, has accused him of emotional abuse and claimed he once offered her $12 million to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) promising not to discuss their relationship or breakup.
