Watch Wynonna Judd Sing ‘Give a Little Love’ in ‘Austin City Limits’ Return

Wynonna Judd is making her return to Austin City Limits as a part of their 50th anniversary season. Her pre-recorded episode will air on Saturday (Nov. 9).

Her last appearance was in 1997. Before that, she performed on stage with her mother, Naomi Judd, as the duo The Judds in 1985. After her mother died in 2022, it’s safe to say this performance will be bittersweet.

The “No One Else on Earth” singer paid tribute to her late mother by singing their 1988 hit, “Give a Little Love.” As she sang her mother’s parts, she embodied Naomi’s dance moves, much to the audience’s delight.

During their time on stage, Austin City Limits performers share the stories behind the music as well as personal anecdotes. Judd opened up about her healing process after losing her mother.

“So this is where it gets real y’all,” she shares. “I am a woman of faith, and that has been tested these past two years.

“I lost my mama to suicide, and when she died, I thought I would die of a broken heart,” she continues. “So instead, I went on tour — a lot of people didn’t understand why. I now understand it’s because the music healed me, and the fans supported me through a very difficult time in my life.”
