On August 8th, Underwood wowed the audience with her rendition of “Ace of Spades,” complete with raspy, gritty vocals, soaring high notes and an unshakable, impeccable tone. As seen in fan-shot footage, many in the crowd whistled, clapped, cheered and sang along, showing that the “Before He Cheats” hitmaker knows how to rile up a rock crowd just as much as a country one!

The 1980 metal song, originally sung by Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, is no easy feat when covering. Underwood uploaded a photo collection post from her performance for her 12.8 million followers, and fans were quick to commend her cover as well as her eye-catching outfit.

“You rock Carrie,” one wrote with heart-eye emojis as another added that she can truly “sing anything.” Someone else commented: “You can ROCK any concert off their seats!!!!” as one other expressed their wishes for a “rock album from Carrie.” Many also complimented her “gorgeous” ensemble and love for the “silver denim and fringe” that she donned.

Underwood also recently impressed fans with a cover of Ozzy Osbourne‘s iconic power ballad, “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”
