WATCH: Carrie Underwood’s Baby Cries When Daddy Sings

Carrie Underwood’s Canadian husband Mike Fisher should leave the singing to his country star wife.

That seems to be the opinion, at least, of the couple’s infant son Jacob.

Underwood shared a video clip on Instagram of the 5-month-old crying when Fisher sings Vince Gill’s “I Still Believe in You” to him. When Underwood takes over the singing, the baby immediately stops crying, only to start again when Fisher sings again.

“Everyone’s a critic,” Underwood captioned the adorable clip. Fisher defended his vocal skills in the comments. “The real reason is he was hungry and wanted your food,” he wrote, adding the hashtag “#notmysinging.”

Fans and famous friends are commenting on the video.

“This is the greatest thing I’ve seen all year,” opined Justin Timberlake, while Brad Paisley’s wife Kim commented: “Oh my gosh I’m dying.”

Singer Dave Barnes summed it up best. “This is what the Internet was made for.”
It’s not the first time Underwood fans have been given a taste of Fisher’s singing. Last November, the Ontario-born hockey player shared a video for “Before She Bleats,” a parody of his wife’s 2005 track “Before He Cheats.”
