Checotah native Carrie Underwood marked the 15th anniversary of her win on “American Idol” Monday by retweeting a video from several of her fans congratulating her on the momentous moment and sharing how she has inspired them.




Underwood beat out runner-up Bo Bice in the “American Idol” Season 4 finale on March 25, 2005. She has since become one of the most popular and successful “Idol” alumni, winning seven Grammy Awards, becoming one of the top-selling female recording artists of all time and joining the Grand Ole Opry.
