Fans are livid over the news of Carrie Underwood liking a tweet pertaining to anti-mask regulations. All it took was a click of a button in order for the star to face so much hate.
Fans on Twitter noticed Underwood’s apparent endorsement of Matt Walsh’s message, and that was enough for them to fly off the handle. Carrie is being dragged on social media as an “anti-vaxxer.”
Somehow, the long-standing American Idol debate got brought into the mix. It has been an ongoing conversation for years on who is the greatest star to come from the franchise… Underwood or Clarkson.
Since Underwood is facing all of this public scrutiny, fans are making it very clear who the elite American Idol winner is.

In the video, the conservative voices his concerns regarding what making children wear masks is teaching them.
Matt Walsh states how it is teaching children to believe “the air is toxic, that everyone around them is sick,” and “forcing children to wear masks should be considered “abusive,” which received applause from the parents attending the meeting. Walsh continued, “What if a parent forced his kid to wear a football helmet all day every day for fear of falling coconuts and meteors?” he argued. “If you saw that, you would say he’s abusive.”
GLAAD political consultant Jeremy Hooper tweeted, “It’s not just that Carrie Underwood liked an anti-mask tweet. It’s that Carrie Underwood liked an anti-mask tweet from Matt Walsh, one of those most negligently histrionic voices on the topic of protecting kids from COVID.”

Apparently, all Carrie Underwood fans are fleeing to Kelly Clarkson now.
@PrincessDJXO tweeted, “Me when I found out @carrieunderwood is anti masker & vaxxer . I really like her and thought she was a sweetheart and had common sense. That ok cause Kelly Clarkson is the Queen of Idol.”
@danaschroath wrote, “i’ve always known that kelly clarkson was superior to carrie underwood, glad everyone else is realizing it now!”
Kelly Clarkson may find that her Spotify and Apple Music streams are about to spike. Carrie Underwood on the other hand has yet to comment on the matter.
