Toby Keith’s Mother Joined Him On Stage During One Of His Final Performances.
During the show on December 12th, Toby’s mother, Carolyn Joan Covel, stepped out on stage to greet the crowd during the fan-favorite song “Red Solo Cup.” While on stage, the singer-songwriter joked around with his mom and encouraged her to playfully tell the crowd to “go to hell.” She obliged, and the crowd got a good laugh out of the exchange.
What was a lighthearted and spontaneous moment will surely become a cherished memory for the family.

Toby Keith Performed “Don’t Let The Old Man In” During His Final Performance In Las Vegas.
Toby Keith’s setlist for his weekend of shows in Las Vegas was filled with his hit songs from the last three decades including “Beer For My Horses,” “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” and more. During the momentous show, Toby took a break from his bold and high energy songs to perform a rendition of his latest hit, “Don’t Let The Old Man In.”
The ballad was inspired by a casual conversation with Clint Eastwood, and became the motivational soundtrack to Toby’s fight against cancer. Toby, who had become visibly frail since undergoing treatment, sat in a chair and sang the poignant lyrics out over the crowd. The emotion in the room was palpable.
