UPDATE 1:31 p.m CST
Charlie Kirk’s pastor, Rob McCoy, delivered the gospel message to the crowd. McCoy said that his responsibility was to present Jesus as the “guest of honor” at the service because Kirk’s “why” behind everything he did was his own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Hundreds of people just stood to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior because of the impact Charlie Kirk had on their lives.
Truly incredible.
Pastor Rob McCoy said it perfectly: “The Bible says that when one sinner gives their heart to the Lord, the angels in Heaven… pic.twitter.com/gn7wa5WO0G

ORIGINAL POST
Ten days after conservative activist Charlie Kirk, 31, was killed, his widow, Erika, and the nation’s top leadership gathered to lead a memorial service in his honor.
President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Donald Trump Jr., Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and conservative commentator Tucker Carlson are among the speakers scheduled for the event held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
It marks a historical moment as it is the first time in “modern history” that a sitting President and Vice President will attend a service together and speak at a memorial service for a citizen who isn’t a former president, according to Tyler Bowyer.
This is the first documented time in modern history that the sitting President & Vice President will honor any citizen by attending a memorial together outside of a former President.
As such, it will be the first time that both will speak at one.

Tens of thousands of people gathered, all dressed in red, white, and blue, to remember Kirk. The service will include a music service led by worship leaders Chris Tomlin, Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham, Kari Jobe Carnes, and Cody Carnes. Country legend Lee Greenwood will also perform an emotional rendition of his hit “God Bless The U.S.A.”
Ahead of Sunday’s service, authorities warned attendees of possible protests and disruptions.
As a result of the attention Kirk’s assassination has drawn and the attendance of our country’s senior leadership, extensive security measures were in place. TSA-level security measures were in place, as was a No Bag Policy.
State Farm Stadium can hold an estimated 63,000 people, and more than 400,000 reportedly registered for the event. Initial estimates read that 100,000 were expected to attend in person. That estimate was increased to 300,000 the morning of the service. In a statement, Turning Point USA announced that the “event is first come, first served [sic] based on stadium capacity.”

Within an hour of the memorial service starting, the stadium reached capacity, and tens of thousands more remained outside. Desert Diamond Arena, located next door to the stadium, was used as an overflow for those unable to enter.
