Reba McEntire Headlines The Music City Rodeo
Nashville hosted its first-ever PRCA rodeo event from May 29-31, 2025. The Music City Rodeo drew more than 30,000 fans to Bridgestone Arena over the course of three days.
In addition to the thrilling competition between some of rodeo’s fastest-growing stars, spectators were treated to evening concerts featuring some of the biggest names in country music. Reba McEntire, Jelly Roll, and Tim McGraw headlined the inaugural event, each being the featured performer for one of the three nights.

Reba McEntire is no stranger to rodeo. In fact, she was discovered nearly 50 years ago in 1974, while singing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City. Since then, she has become a staple at many major rodeo events, including RodeoHouston.

To close out the first night of the Music City Rodeo, Reba performed a 90-minute set featuring a variety of her hit songs from throughout the decades. The audience was in for a special treat when the “Fancy” singer invited Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson to join her on stage for a surprise performance of their latest collaboration.
The trio debuted “Trailblazer” at the recent ACM Awards, and many viewers called it the highlight of the night. The official track was released following the show and generated 2.6 million on-demand streams in its first week. It broke a personal record for Reba, becoming the largest streaming debut of her career.
“Trailblazer” celebrates the iconic women of country music who have paved the way for female artists today. Those include Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, and Patsy Cline, to name a few.
