The Ratings Are In For The Happy’s Place Premiere…
The Happy’s Place cast had been teasing the show for months before its premiere. One of the biggest teasers came when Reba released the show’s theme song, which she co-wrote with Carole King.
Reba also recorded the upbeat track. A shortened version plays during the opening credits of each Happy’s Place episode. The full version can be heard in an audio clip Reba shared on her official YouTube channel.
After much anticipation, Happy’s Place debuted on NBC at 8 PM ET on October 18. The premiere introduced viewers to all of the characters and set up the central conflict between Bobbie and Isabella.
The episode ends with Bobbie and Isabella making some sense of temporary peace. But it’s clear Bobbie still has a hard time accepting her new reality, as she realizes her father wasn’t the upright man she thought he was.
As a country music superstar and former sitcom queen, Reba was expected to draw in lots of viewers to Happy’s Place. That’s exactly what happened!
