Ned LeDoux To Release An Unheard Duet With His Late Dad, Chris LeDoux

Chris LeDoux’s son Ned shared the exciting news that a never-before-heard duet is on the way

The country music world mourned the loss of singer, sculptor, and rodeo champion Chris LeDoux in March of 2005. Now, nearly 20 years later, fans will get to hear his voice once again.

Ned LeDoux, son of the late singer, shared the exciting news that he will be releasing a new song titled “One Hand In The Riggin’” on December 4th. The track will feature never-before-heard vocals recorded by Chris prior to his death.

With the announcement, Ned wrote:

“I’m releasing an early Christmas gift from my upcoming album on December 4th called, ‘One Hand In the Riggin’’. It’s a duet with my Dad that no one’s heard him sing before and I can’t wait for you all to hear it.”

Ned is following in his father’s footsteps

Ned LeDoux started his music career by playing drums for his father’s band and eventually started releasing his own solo material. His debut EP, Forever a Cowboy, came out in 2016.

The 47-year-old occasionally covers his dad’s songs, including one of his most famous, “This Cowboy’s Hat.” Ned played an integral role in the completion of the official music video for “This Cowboy’s Hat,” which was just released in July 2024.
