NBC Announces Official Premiere Date For Reba’s New Sitcom, “Happy’s Place”

Hold Onto Your Cowboy Hats, Folks!

The queen of country music, Reba McEntire, is making a grand return to television with her brand-new sitcom, Happy’s Place, premiering soon on NBC.

And now we have a premiere date for the highly-anticipated show!

Familiar Faces, New Adventures

Joining Reba on this comedic journey are some well-known names. Melissa Peterman, who fans will remember from Reba, is back in action. Plus, we’re in for a treat with the talented Belissa Escobedo and the charming Rex Linn, who just so happens to be Reba’s real-life boyfriend!

The buzz started back in January when NBC announced that Reba would be teaming up with the executive producers from her hit show Reba to bring us a fresh comedy. By May, Happy’s Place was officially greenlit, and fans got their first sneak peek in a trailer released on May 14. See a short clip of the show below!

What’s “Happy’s Place” All About?
In this exciting new series, Reba takes on the role of Bobbie, who inherits her father’s restaurant. But there’s a twist – she discovers she has a half-sister she never knew about, portrayed by Belissa Escobedo. The show promises laughs and heartfelt moments as Bobbie navigates this unexpected family dynamic. Alongside Reba and Belissa, we’ll see Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and Rex Linn, making for an ensemble cast that’s sure to deliver.

Reba’s Return To TV
Happy’s Place marks Reba’s first starring role since her stint on ABC’s Big Sky. But she hasn’t been away from the small screen entirely – she’s been gracing us with her presence as a coach on NBC’s The Voice since Season 24. This fall, Reba will hang up her coaching hat after the 26th season.

And here’s a cherry on top: Reba’s lending her iconic voice to the theme song of Happy’s Place, much like she did with the unforgettable “I’m A Survivor” for her previous sitcom, Reba. Talk about a treat for the ears!

Reba herself teased the new show on social media, sharing photos and asking fans, “Are y’all ready for [Happy’s Place] this fall?! I know we are!”

NBC revealed their fall 2024 premiere dates on Tuesday, July 9, and Happy’s Place was just one among many!

Set your reminders: Happy’s Place is set to premiere on Friday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. ET, only on NBC.

In the meantime, if you’re itching for more Reba, you can catch up on all the nostalgia by streaming Reba in full on Netflix. Perfect prep for diving into Happy’s Place this fall!
