Duck Dynasty Fans Get Update on Miss Kay Robertson’s Health

For over a year, Duck Dynasty fans have closely followed updates about Phil and Miss Kay Robertson’s health. In February, the couple moved from their beloved Louisiana home to be closer to town, which made it easier to receive the medical care they needed.

Sadly, Phil Robertson was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and a blood disorder. He passed away on May 25, 2025. Meanwhile, Miss Kay faced her own health challenges, leaving fans deeply concerned about her well-being.

Miss Kay’s Fall and Recovery

Earlier in 2025, Miss Kay suffered a severe fall that led to a serious infection. Her son, Jase, admitted the situation seemed “life-threatening.” Thankfully, she recovered after receiving proper treatment.

After Phil’s passing, Willie Robertson spoke to USA Today and admitted his mother was “not in the best of health.” That statement caused worry among fans, who anxiously awaited updates about Miss Kay’s condition.

Robertson Family Addresses Rumors About Miss Kay

In June, Jase and Al Robertson spoke on their family’s Unashamed podcast about the “fake news” spreading online regarding Miss Kay’s health. They explained that rumors grew worse after Willie’s comments but reassured listeners that their mom was doing much better.

“She is doing amazing, by the way. She’s had a huge bounce back physically,” Jase said.

Miss Kay herself also put the rumors to rest. She appeared on the Duck Call Room podcast, where she laughed about the false AI-generated posts claiming she had passed away.
“She lives! You live, Mom,” Al joked while introducing her. Kay replied with humor, “Thank goodness! I’m tired of being dead.”

Miss Kay Robertson Leaves Assisted Living

On August 18, Al and Jase Robertson shared even more good news. During a new episode of the Unashamed podcast, they revealed Miss Kay is no longer in assisted living. Instead, she has returned home to the Robertson family property, where she now lives with Al’s daughter, Anna, “right in the middle” of the family compound.

“Mom has not been in the best of health for a bit,” Al explained. “But she’s doing well again, the surgery was a success…she looks great.”

Recently, she even joined Al’s family for dinner out, proving she is regaining strength and enjoying life with loved ones.
