Miranda Lambert is currently performing in Las Vegas for her new Velvet Rodeo residency. She had a show on October 1, and wanted to honor the Vegas shooting victims.
First, she and her crew attended a 5K race that was held in memory of the victims. Miranda’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin, ran in the race.
“Band and crew up early this morning to be part of the Vegas Strong 5k/1M to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Oct 1, Route 91 Harvest Festival. Sending love and light to all the victims, survivors, first responders, our live nation family, and all of those affected,” Miranda wrote alongside a photo she shared from the race.

If you flip through Brendan’s slideshow, you can see a short clip of him running in the race. He passes Miranda and she reaches out her hand to offer him a high five.
