Vince Gill & Amy Grant Have Five Kids In Their Blended Family

Vince Gill and Amy Grant have now been married for 25 years and have five kids in their blended family. Both singers had previously been married once before. Amy was married to Christian singer Gary Chapman, while Vince was married to Sweethearts of the Rodeo singer Janis Oliver.

Amy shared three children with Gary, and Vince had a daughter with Janis. As Amy once admitted herself, none of the kids seemed thrilled when she and Vince tied the knot on March 10, 2000.

“I laugh about our wedding day, because all of our photographs, I refer to my grim-faced children,” Amy told Katie Couric in 2013 “But really, Vince and I were the only excited ones.”

Those feelings changed as time progressed, and their blended family grew closer. “It feels like we all are welcome, that’s how it feels,” Amy said in 2013.

Vince and Amy later had a daughter together, bringing the total number of kids in their blended family to five. Allow us to introduce them to you here!

Amy and Gary welcomed their second child, a daughter, in 1989. They named her Gloria Mills Chapman, but call her “Millie” for short.

Millie actually inspired Amy to write her signature song, “Baby, Baby.” As Amy explained in the booklet for her Heart in Motion album:

“This song is dedicated to Millie, whose six-week-old face was my inspiration.” Millie later appeared onstage with her mom when she performed “Baby, Baby” at the 34th Grammy Awards.

In 2017, Millie donated one of her kidneys to her best friend, Kathryn Dudley. Their story received national attention, and The Tennessean published a story about their friendship.

Millie’s selfless act also helped bring her family closer together. Amy, Vince, Gary, and his wife Cassie all gathered to support Millie, and healed their relationship in the process. “I just feel so grateful for her generosity of spirit. It has healed so many things,” Amy told The Tennessean.

Two years later, Millie married Ben Long during a stunning ceremony at the Immanuel Baptist Church. Their reception was held at Amy and Vince’s property in Nashville.

“It is hard to believe that same 6 week old girl who inspired the lyrics to “Baby Baby” is now a beautiful married woman,” Amy said on Instagram. “Her life has given us all a lot of reasons to dance and celebrate!“

Millie and Ben had their first child, a daughter named Penelope Willow, in January 2022. They welcomed a son, Oliver Dean, in 2024.

CMT Giants paid tribute to Vince in 2022. During the special, Jenny shared how her dad turned down the chance to make his Grand Ole Opry debut so he could play guitar for her at her 1st grade talent show. They performed “You Are My Sunshine.” When Jenny married her husband, Josh, she and Vince shared their father-daughter dance to “You Are My Sunshine.”

Jenny has performed with her dad and Amy a number of times before. On top of being a singer, she’s also a songwriter and works behind the camera on production-related tasks.

She’s also a mother of two! Jenny and her husband Josh share a son named Wyatt and a daughter named Everly.

Amy and Vince’s only child together is their daughter Corrina Grant Gill. She was born in 2001.

Vince once told AARP that Corrina is “the glue” that holds their blended family together. “She bonded all of us in a blood way that really did connect us,” he said.

Corrina attended Belmont University in Nashville, and has followed in her parents’ musical footsteps. She’s a singer too, and regularly performs and releases new music. Watch her perform her personal spin on her dad’s song “When My Amy Prays” in the video below.
