Luke Combs Shares Emotional Post Reflecting On The “Concert For Carolina”

Luke Combs Helped Organize The Concert For Carolina Benefit Show, Which Raised Over $24 Million For Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

Luke Combs is in awe after helping organize the Concert for Carolina benefit show, which took place on Saturday (October 26).

Combs spearheaded the event with fellow North Carolina native Eric Church. They both performed during the show, as did Billy Strings, James Taylor, Keith Urban, Scotty McCreery, and many other artists.

Like Church and Combs, many of the artists who performed during the concert were from North Carolina.

The concert was held at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over 82,000 fans attended in person, while many others watched the livestream at home.

Concert for Carolina raised over $24 million to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts. The funds will be split between Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, and Eblen Charities.

Luke Combs Says This Was The Night He Will Always Be “Most Proud Of”

Combs was fiercely devoted to making the Concert for Carolina the best event possible. He even delayed his induction into the Music City Walk of Fame to focus his sole attention on the concert.

Combs shared an emotional post on social media after the show. He reflected on the incredible night, writing:

My goodness, what a night! This will undoubtedly go down as the night I am most proud of in my career. Being able to give back to the place that gave me so much.”

Combs thanked his team, band, and crew for their hard work on the event. He also thanked the performers who donated their time to make the concert an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

“We were able to raise 24.5 MILLION DOLLARS for the people of Western North Carolina and I’m so thankful and humbled to be able to be a part of that,” Combs said. “There were countless friends, family, and neighbors there and you could truly feel the love in that stadium last night.”
