Luke Bryan Promises A Refund To Thousands Of Fans After Losing His Voice Mid-Concert

Luke Bryan’s Recent Concert In Arkansas Didn’t Go As Planned After He Lost His Voice

Luke Bryan recently stopped in Rogers, Arkansas, as part of his Country Song Came On Tour at the Walmart AMP.

However, the night didn’t go as smoothly as Bryan or the audience expected.

After touring nonstop across the country, by the time he took the stage, his voice was fading in and out, making it hard for him to sing like he usually does.

Bryan addressed the issue with the crowd several times throughout the night, doing his best to keep spirits high even though he wasn’t at his best vocally.

At one point, he even poked fun at himself while attempting to cover Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” laughing along with the audience as it became clear his voice just wasn’t cooperating.

“Chill out. The worst thing I can do for my career is, on a night that I can’t sing, do a Chris Stapleton song,” Bryan said to the audience before asking them to finish the song for him.

Not long after that moment, Bryan brought up his vocal issue again to the crowd. He told fans that, oddly enough, every time he’s performed at that venue, he’s ended up losing his voice.

“I’m gonna get real with y’all. This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life,” Bryan said. “I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason, and it happens every time. I don’t know why, but you guys keep showing up year after year to see me put on a show.”

Luke Bryan Gives A Refund To Everyone Who Attended His Concert

Obviously, not being able to sing properly in front of thousands of people is a performer’s worst nightmare. And for someone like Luke Bryan, who takes pride in giving fans a show that’s worth every penny, it was a tough spot to be in.

That’s why, much to the crowd’s surprise, Bryan promised to refund everyone who attended the show that night.

“I saw Luke Combs do this a couple years ago when he was having a weird night on stage,” Bryan began. “And I said, ‘You know what, that’s pretty cool.’ So I don’t give a damn, I’m going to refund everybody their tickets tonight.”

Even though he was offering everyone a refund, Bryan told the crowd he still planned to finish the concert, even if his voice was giving him trouble.

“We’re just going to make this what it is. I don’t know why they have to do this every time, but y’all can hear. We’re gonna make the most of it. Let’s do it.”

Fans cheered in support of the “Play It Again” singer for trying to make things right.

Bryan then powered through and finished the rest of his set as scheduled.

In a video taken during the moment Bryan promised fans a refund, people flooded the comment section with praise for how he handled the situation.

“True artist right there!!! really cares about his fans n doesn’t want to waste their money!!” a fan wrote.

“He really did try so hard! I was there last night! When he did this, and the fact he still pushed so hard through it says so much about the type of artist he is!” said another.

“He still put on one heck of a show!!!!” someone exclaimed.
