Lainey Wilson Earns Praise For Powering Through When Storms Impact Her Shows
Rain or shine, Lainey Wilson knows the show must go on.
Wilson was performing during the Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on June 11 when a storm came through. Instead of rushing offstage to take cover from the rain, Wilson embraced it.

The reigning ACM Female Artist of the Year continued to sing with her band for a bit. But as the storm intensified, the band covered their gear with tarps and left the stage

Even after that, Wilson didn’t stop. She sang “Heart Like a Truck” and “Wait in the Truck” a cappella as the rain and wind went wild.

Wilson shared a short video of herself singing “Heart Like a Truck” acoustically on the rain-soaked stage. Everyone in the crowd was singing along with her at the top of their lungs.

Watch the video Wilson posted below. Hats off to her for powering through!
