Let Carrie Underwood take you to church with one of her most uplifting songs ever

It has always seemed that with a new week always comes a new start and a new chance to, no matter how much you screwed up the week before, make everything better again.

It’s a weekly baptism of sorts for sure.

And if there ever was a song created with the idea of baptism in mind, it was Carrie Underwood’s “Something in the Water.” Released back in 2014 on Carrie’s Twitter feed during the 48th Annual CMA Awards, the video showcased a mix of a beautiful and pregnant Carrie with a slew of dancers that did things with their bodies that we have never quite seen before.

Featured on her “Greatest Hits: Decade #1,” the song remains one of Carrie’s shining moments, especially based on this stunning video. Yet, fast-forward two years and Carrie continues to delight, especially with her latest single “Heartbeat.” Via an Instagram post on Jan. 27, Carrie confirmed that she will collaborate with Sam Hunt during the Feb. 15 telecast of the Grammys, with many assuming that they will do Carrie’s latest single “Heartbeat” together onstage.
